I just realised my school doesn't really have many good teachers.. okay, the good ones are really good and each department has a few.. but that's the problem.. only a few. Shucks why can't Singapore take a leaf out of Finland's book where all teachers have at least a master's degree. That's really impressive and should be beneficial to the students too i suppose?
Singapore's teacher-student ratio caused NUS ranking to drop to 33rd and NTU to 60++ As much as that's bad news, i guess it's high time we looked into this too. Time for a revamp in out education system i think? Many teachers don't have time to squeeze in for their students.. guess who suffers?
Having said that.. my GP teacher has been a wonderful help and i owe everything i learnt about GP to her. :D Thanks Mrs Koh. haha.
But for the rest! Econs especially. Incompetency or nonchalence of the teacher without an s, is getting on my nerves. Today i compared the notes to the syllabus requirements and realised they're in a mess. One might think the notes ought to follow a little more closely with the syllabus.. but nooooooo.. -_-" Hence my conclusion: studying for econs is allocatively inefficient in terms of time. Waste my time trying to figure out which part of the notes answers which part. Plus my nose is running like a freaking water tap..
bad mood... rarrrr.
haiz.. i must perservere!!! 5 papers down, 5 more to go. 13 more days to freedom.
